
What is it?
circus - music - plastic arts - stories
An event that tells the cultural roots of Friuli Venezia Giulia through contemporary art: the Patriarchate of Aquileia, the Serenissima Republic of Venice, the places and spaces of relationships that characterize Cividale del Friuli. The contents are developed starting from the opening of the historical archives contained in the Civic Library of the city, which host important documents dating back to the 15th century.

Path in the State of the Art
circus walk
An hour walk along the ancient streets of Cividale del Friuli. A walk accompanied by 13 artists who will propose circus performances, live music, vertical dance, narrations and installations.

Soon Circus Company
Contemporary circus show with Manel Rosés (Spain) and Nilas Kronlid (Finland), both gold medalists at the Festival de Cirque de Demain. A spectacular mix of bascula, mano a mano, Chinese pole and humor. From the clash of two styles, two civilizations and the fight to be the first, a unique breathtaking show is born.

Concert and Talk
by the "S. Gaggia" Association
World premiere of three compositions inspired by 14th century musical material found in the Cividale archives and written by Carla Rebora, Carla Magnan, Maura Capuzzo and Rossella Spinosa. During the concert, RAI presenter Valentina Lo Surdo hosts a talk with Angelo Floramo, maestro Rucli and composers Rebora, Magnan, Capuzzo and Spinosa.
Project created by the Municipality of Cividale del Friuli - Department of Culture, with the support of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and in collaboration with the Circo all'inCirca Association, the Zeroidee Association, the "S. Gaggia" Association, the Centro Friulano Arti Plastiche, the Dancantea Association, the BeFlat Association, the Itala Longobardorum Association, and the Superintendency for Archival Heritage of FVG.
