Born as entertainment devoid of meaning, focused on the spectacularization of the so-called "freak show" and aimed at provoking wonder in the spectator, today the circus, in its "contemporary" declination, can be an artistic performance capable of conveying complex emotions. Thanks to a sort of symbolic stratification, the contemporary circus is extremely effective as a social and educational tool. Using this art as an educational tool means learning to recognize life experiences, adolescent anxieties, the fears of children and adults, the peculiarities, their weaknesses and all their qualities as necessary values to give life to the harmony of a single show. Education in emotions, expressiveness, communication, creativity and sports discipline, these are the objectives that, in general, the projects for schools aim to achieve.
