Circo all'inCirca

A little philosophy

...that subject whose usefulness many contest.

The contemporary circus is a bit like it: while some are wondering what purpose art has in a world accessible through a touch screen, a small group of artists is looking for alternatives to life, showing everyone unusual paths to take, giving space to thoughts that are not conformed to habit. It is our little contemporary circus, even before being a type of performance, it is a style of thinking that is frank, dynamic, attentive to others; a style that transforms into creative expression, educational attention and practice of life, not without a bit of humor.

Circo all'inCirca

all'inCirca artistic direction

Davide Perissutti is at the beginning of the story, when the Circus all'inCirca did not exist and seemed a goal as far away as it was absurd. He studies. In the sense that he has never stopped, he has a master's degree in philosophy on the theme of theatrical play, one in theology on the theme of creativity - he says he spends them much better at the circus than at university - he has been through the Academy of Dramatic Arts "Nico Pepe", the Academy of Comedy in Rome, Hope Music, Helikos and other European schools. He explores the technical professions of the theater for fun, he is crazy about the job of the rigger, however he continues to study things, people and life with passion.

Sports management

Irene Giacomello is also at the beginning of this story, on that night when madness finally prevailed over reason and the Circo all'inCirca was founded. She never stops, she uses gymnastics even during the REM phase; after a degree in education and one in motor sciences she decided to continue by studying circus, first at the National Institute of Circus Arts in Melbourne, then at Tor Vergata University, most recently with Kataklò in Milan. She didn't stop when she was pregnant and promises not to stop.

Artists

Circo all'inCirca is a place where we hope artists of all backgrounds and backgrounds feel at home. We thank those who already inhabit our spaces, Silvia, Valentina, Chiara, Viso, Laia, Bart, Sarah, Camilla, Simone, Tina, Paolo to name a few; the instructors who train to create their own performances, musicians, photographers, explorers, all those who keep our space alive and fresh.

Friends and collaborators

Most of the activities proposed by Circo all'inCirca are possible thanks to the work of enthusiastic volunteers that we always thank: Carla, Giulia, Maurizio, Chiara, Alex, Caterina, Fabio, Francesco, and many others. Do you want to be part of the group? Just wear a comfortable dress, arm yourself with willpower and join us. N.B.: the artists at Circo all'inCirca get their hands dirty together with friends and collaborators, the depth of the circus is all here, in sharing. Finally, thanks to the unconscious founders: Davide, Chiara G., Irene, Francesca G., Francesca R., Matteo, Renata, Lorenzo, Valerio. Statute.

The board of directors

Circo all'inCirca

In addition to Davide and Irene, the helm of Circo all'inCirca is also held by Giulia, secretary who deals in particular with the pedagogical vision of the association together with Chiara, who you don't see in this photo, but is there... because she is behind the scenes, and finally Alessandro, educator involved in the social circus activities of the Association.
