The 2021/2022 Circo all’inCirca campaign was born from this way of thinking and from our claim, take a break #unapausadallanormalità. In recent years we had imagined the break in a bathroom, a kitchen and in many other normal places, at home. But after two years of home confinement we felt like going out... to the cinema! A break from normality in the most famous films of all time. Among these there is one that best tells the story of the freedom to play that has always inspired us. 1939, Hitler has started the bloodiest and most cruel war that history has ever seen, the nerves of diplomacy around the world are on edge. What can and cannot be said about Nazi Germany has become a matter of state, even in America. Despite all this, Charlie Chaplin has the courage to invest the largest sum of money Hollywood has ever seen out of his own pocket to produce a film that certainly could not have sold in Europe. This is because its protagonist is the obvious parody of the most bloodthirsty and dangerous leader of the moment. "The Great Dictator" is the freedom to play, the courage to play seriously. Freedom that is even more surprising when you consider that "The Great Dictator" is the first film without the two certainties that had accompanied Chaplin until then: Charlot and the sound. Freedom even from oneself! A true artistic, cinematographic and personal revolution. Creativity and freedom of expression are the reason why our circus courses exist. We do not intend to transform you into the Charlie Chaplin of the new millennium, but we imagine a space to learn to play, aware that true competition, the healthy one, is first and foremost competition towards oneself and towards one's own limits, where knowing how to play means knowing how to create and experiment with new worlds and ways of being.
